WEEKLY FEATURED PRODUCTS
Sometimes, you get back from the (other) dispensaries and find that the bud you scooped was not as good as you originally thought. That weed is minor. Other times, you come to Terp Bros and the weed you get exceeds all expectations to a level you can’t comprehend and you call all the homies over to try it to make sure you’re not tripping. Then all the homies hit the blunt, look at you, look back at the blunt, smile, and you know you got the good, good. That weed is Major. All jokes aside, the Major brand of flower hit the shelves recently and we’re still getting quotes on shelf repairs. Yeah… it’s that good. Also, they have something for everyone. Knowing New Yorkers are always on the move, two of their initial four strain lineup are sativas. The Sour OG has notes of that OG Sour from back in the day with a little more heaviness in the eyes and extremities while still being squarely euphoric in effect. The Guava Haze brings some funk to the party on the nose and inhale, but will have you geeked like the Haze you used to know and love. For our indica lovers, the Linzer Tart will have you stuck and for those who can’t pick a lane, their Purgatorio isn’t as scary a hybrid as its name implies. Regardless of your strain preferences, we think you’ll find something to love from Major! Come by Terp Bros Astoria to scoop one (or all four) before they’re gone!
2. Cannatella – Infused Chocolate Hazelnut Spread – 100mg Jar
Picture this. You just woke up on vacation in an expansive Italian villa. You stroll toward the open, arched window, pull back the flowing curtain and overlook the countryside as you breathe in the crisp, fresh morning air. Suddenly, you smell the unmistakable scent of fresh baked bread as you hear a gentle knock on your door. It’s room service. You didn’t order anything, but the staff heard you stirring and thought you might want a light, early breakfast. On the platter, a bowl of fresh berries with honey and yogurt, a small cappuccino, a tiny wedge of cheese, two slices of the bread you were just smelling (perfectly toasted) and a side of chocolate hazelnut spread. You could almost cry at the beauty but then you remember that after breakfast you still have to roll up before you can properly enjoy your day of exploring. And honestly, on vacation, who has time for that? However, what if that delicious chocolate hazelnut spread could get you high all on its own? That is the idea that sparked Cannatella. The world’s (or at least New York’s) first ever infused edible spread. Move over, butter. Toast has met someone new and he makes way more money and has bigger muscles and is more emotionally intelligent than you are. Head over to Terp Bros Astoria today to get a jar while supplies last because like vacations, nothing is forever!
3. Made in Xiaolin – Bambino Rosin Infused Joints – 2pk, 3g
Here at Terp Bros Astoria, we pride ourselves on providing something for everyone, regardless of budget. For that reason, we offer lots of items at low price points for people who still want to smoke but are still trying to save. However, we also cater to the other side of the budget spectrum. The king of products designed for those with a bit more cash to throw around is most definitely the Made in Xiaolin line of pre rolls. The Godfather (biggest in the lineup) boasts ten grams of top shelf, premium indoor flower along with two grams of concentrate. This thing is a beast! We also carry the Goomah, which is a smaller scale version of the Godfather coming in at three grams total. However, what we’re here to highlight today is the smallest of their lineup, the Bambino. They may be small but they weren’t named after the Babe for no reason. These things are power hitters with 0.4g of premium flower along with 0.1g of top shelf live rosin. Plus they come in a two pack that doesn’t break the bank! Head over to Terp Bros today and tell them you want the Bambino from Made in Xiaolin!
WEEKLY MUNCHIES HIGHLIGHT – HELLO BANGLADESH RESTAURANT
Listen, do you think it’s easy for us to continuously crank out delicious, multicultural food recommendations for you to try right here in Astoria week after week? We don’t do it because it’s easy. We do it because your taste buds deserve better than chicken fingers, french fries, and plain slices. Not throwing any shade, we get stuck in food ruts just like everyone else. However, when you live in a neighborhood like Astoria, limiting yourself to a handful of comfort meals is really doing yourself a disservice. There are so many restaurants from so many different cultures and cuisines for you to try here in Astoria and we believe that diversity in every way, including food, is what makes this neighborhood and this city so great. In that spirit, this week’s restaurant recommendation is Hello Bangladesh Restaurant. Nestled near the corner of 36th Ave. and 30th St., this place is cranking out delicious Bangladeshi comfort food dishes that are more than worth a try. They’re worth adding Hello Bangladesh to that list of comfort meal spots! They offer traditional dishes like Fuchka which are hollow fried wheat balls filled with mashed potatoes, tamarind water, and delicious chutneys as well as less traditional dishes like burger and chicken wings. But you can get burgers and wings anywhere. We suggest trying their wide (and varying) selection of classic Bangladeshi dishes and desserts. Also, if you find that you like Bangladeshi food, there are more options here in Astoria as well. But for first timers who want to try a bit of everything, we highly recommend Hello Bangladesh Restaurant. Don’t forget to pick up your appetite enhancement supplements here at Terp Bros Astoria first! You’re welcome.

2. Yoga and Wellness Event – Suryaside Yoga + Wellness – 49-06 Skillman Ave. Aug 23
This is not your average wellness event. Why not? Well, for starters, this one offers stick and poke tattoos. What was the last wellness event you attended that offered that? We’ll wait. Actually, we won’t. Nobody has time for that. What you should make some time for is the continuing Leo Szn Celebrations benefitting Khalil’s Friends and Queens Families for Palestine! This event has so much fun to offer, a blurb might not be enough but we thought you might want to check it out so we had to at least let you know. From reiki and yoga to tattoos and sweet treats, this event has it all! Even blackout poetry, crafting, and haircuts! Stop by early for same day tattoo bookings or reach out to Suryaside studio and shoot them a DM to see if any appointments are still available. They’re going fast, but even if you can’t snag one or a same day slot, the event still has a lot to offer!
3. Flushing Food Crawl
Living in Astoria is great for many reasons. Not last on that extensive list is the numerous food options available to locals. So many that sometimes it’s easy to forget that we’re just a couple miles away from the biggest, most affordable Chinatown in the country, and we’re not talking about Manhattan. That’s right, here in Queens we have access to some of the best, authentic Chinese food on the planet! Flushing is home to some of the cheapest, most delicious Chinese food options ranging from hole in the wall (literally) joints to fine dining restaurants. The high-end stuff is great for special occasions or showing off, but the real gems sit in hot trays, cranked out by the dozen every minute, and for less money than you could imagine. Don’t want to do the work of looking up where to go? Simply search “Flushing food crawl” on google and click any of the Reddit threads that discuss the topic in depth. Or, we can list some of the must try spots for you here. First, we have to suggest the malls and food courts. They all have dozens of food stalls with flavors you won’t believe at prices your wallet will thank you for. New World Mall is a great place to start. Navigate your way to the food court for fried and steamed buns, noodle dishes, and so much more! Next, head over to New York Food Court and try one (or five) of their stalls too! Want some of the best dumplings in the city? Head to White Bear or Zhu Ji Dumpling House. Flushing also boasts numerous Hot Pot restaurants, a thriving and delicious mini K-Town with amazing Korean food options and so many fun shops for drinks, snacks, and trinkets. There is literally something, likely hundreds of things for anyone in Flushing and it just so happens to be right in your own backyard!
There you have it, Terp Bros friends! Another Tuesday, another list of fire products, great eats, and fun things to do over the next week!
