Welcome back and happy Tuesday, Terp fam! It feels like it’s been about a week since we last spoke, which means that we’re back with another jam-packed list of where to eat, what to smoke, and where to kick it this week! The temps are down in the thirties, but the heat on the shelves here at Terp Bros just keeps getting hotter. Also, it’s no secret that Santa will soon be on his merry way to NYC, and he’s leaving a private stock of gifts for you to get for your stoney friends this holiday season! Everything from pre-rolls to concentrates to have you and your friends feeling like you’re riding on a one-horse open sleigh, whatever that means. As always, keep a notepad (or your phone) handy to jot down all the recs you won’t want to miss!

Major has been making waves in the legal NY flower market since their jars first hit dispensary shelves, and for good reason. Their flower delivers, jar after jar. It’s that simple. The new lineup includes Purple Silk (indica hybrid), Air Headz (hybrid), JFK (sativa), Sour Grapes (hybrid), The Rotten Apple (hybrid), and Santa Cruz Haze (sativa). Each one has unique and potent effects that will leave you wanting more, so maybe grab more than one to start! Not feeling the new strains? Weird, but no worries! 2. Hudson Cannabis SHO (Activated Rosin) NYC Diesel (Sativa)
Looking for an amazing and versatile new way to get high? Look no further than the new SHO from Hudson Cannabis. What exactly is activated rosin? It’s the same rosin you would use to dab or add to a joint or bowl, only it’s been activated before packaging. That means you can still add it to that joint or bowl to give it an extra punch of potency and flavor, but you can also eat it on its own or add it to sauces or hot drinks to use as an edible. It truly is one of the most versatile and potent cannabis products on the market, and it’s available here at Terp Bros Astoria in the NYC Diesel sativa strain! Head over to Terp Bros to grab one (or three) today!

WEEKLY RESTAURANT HIGHLIGHT – GAIA MASALA BURGER & BAR
Have you ever found yourself locked in an internal battle between two different cuisines to get for dinner? Who are we kidding? If you’re reading this, you’ve probably dealt with that issue three times in the last week. It’s a real struggle. However, every once in a while a restaurant emerges that takes multiple cuisines and merges them together seamlessly to create an entirely new eating experience. This week, we have one of those restaurants for you. Gaia Masala Burger & Bar is a unicorn in a pasture full of sleeping horses. It blends classic American and American Italian dishes with Indian spices and ingredients to make explosions of flavors you never knew you needed, and you do need them. One of their standout dishes is their Masala Cheese Fries with melted cheese sauce, Indian-spiced french fries cooked to crispy perfection, and optionally topped with lamb or chicken tikka with a customizable spice level. And when they say “Super Hot,” they actually mean it. You’ve been warned. Another must-try is their Chicken Tikka Cheesesteak, which perfectly blends the classic Philly with its cheesy, melty goodness loaded with onions and peppers with the deep, spicy flavors of chicken tikka. This place really is a gem in a neighborhood full of noteworthy restaurants. We would know. They also have a bunch of non-fusion options. Indian, Mediterranean, pizza, burgers and sandwiches, and more! There truly is something here for any and everybody. Our favorite part is the adjustable heat level to their dishes. You really get an option to dial in which works best for you. From mild to Spice Lord, you’re good to go! In the mood for something different for dinner? Check out Gaia Masala Burger & Bar here in Astoria and tell them Terp Bros sent you!

WHAT TO DO IN NYC THIS WEEK
1. Check Out The Lights In Dyker Heights. Hey, that rhymed!
New York does it up for the holidays in more ways than one. One of the more visually stunning ways this city celebrates is with its many neighborhoods with spectacular Christmas lights displays. Many neighborhoods are known for having unique and colorful displays around Christmas time, but no other neighborhood does it quite like Dyker Heights. Street after street, your eyes will be dazzled by millions upon millions of beautiful twinkling lights. Everything you can imagine is included. From Santa to the reindeer, elves, and even Elvis. Ok, so we can’t promise that Elvis will make an appearance. But there are so many light displays that we wouldn’t be surprised if the King made his long-awaited comeback in Dyker Heights around the holidays. Regardless of if you go alone, with kids, or that special someone, the Dyker Heights Christmas Lights display is one of the most iconic and fun Christmas activities in the city, and that is saying something. Seriously though, if you see Elvis there, like the real Elvis… please tell him to come to Terp Bros.

2. Grand Central Terminal Holiday Market
This city is full of holiday markets that are hawking overpriced but Christmas-spirit-filled products of every kind. However, most of them are outside. That means along with crowds and high prices, you’re also dealing with the cold and the possibility of poor weather. Now you can enjoy all that the classic New York City holiday markets have to offer while being inside and warm. Or at least warmer than the ones outside. This one is also unique in that you can take in the beautiful architecture while you shop for last-minute presents in style. Also, on the off chance that you run into the real Elvis at the Grand Central Terminal Holiday Market, tell him to come to Terp Bros. Just in case.

3. New York Botanical Garden Holiday Train Show
Are you or someone you love affected by loving trains, both model and otherwise? Have you been living most of the year without access to amazing holiday train displays? You may be entitled to an amazing experience at the New York Botanical Garden Holiday Train Show this year. Side effects of attending the train show at New York Botanical Garden include near-constant smiles, dazzling bewilderment, and pure existential holiday joy. Warning: if holiday joy lasts longer than four hours, please consult your local mall Santa. In all seriousness though, whether or not you like trains, this Holiday Train Show at the New York Botanical Garden is a spectacle worth experiencing at least once. The space is transformed into a holiday winter wonderland with Christmas lights, snow, and, of course, so many amazing holiday train displays driving all around! There is so much to see that you may need to visit more than once just to catch it all. For parents with kids who love trains, get ready to officially become their hero for taking them here this Christmas season. Not that you aren’t already. You know what we mean. If this sounds even remotely interesting to you, don’t miss it. It’s truly an amazing experience you will not soon forget! But, if you see Elvis there, don’t bother him. Just let him enjoy the trains. He’s been through enough.

Well, here we are again Terp fam. The end of another newsletter full of fun fire stuff to do around the city this week. Some good stuff to eat, some great stuff to smoke, and some fun places to kick it and buy gifts for people before the holidays. You can’t ask for much more than that. Well, you could, but it’s probably best to keep expectations low. That way we can really surprise you every once in a while. As always, if you have a restaurant, or event, or product you’d like to see highlighted in an upcoming newsletter, make sure to shoot us a DM on Instagram with suggestions! We love hearing from you and putting your suggestions in the newsletters! Thanks so much for reading, and until next Tuesday, stay high, stay dry, and stay super fly. Love you, byeeeee!
